City Central Internship (CCI) is a program initiative established to collaborate young adults to the local church for renewal, awakening, and revival.

Internship Details

CCI Program:
CCI is a 9 month, part-time, internship program beginning September 13, 2020, through May 23, 2021.

Investment:
Cost – $1000 (CCI includes materials, resources, internship retreats, activities, and speakers.)

Application: 
CCI applications open Sunday, May 3rd- Sunday, August 23rd.

You must between 18-30 years old to apply. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

Our time together in the classroom and hands-on training will focus on the following:

Ministry Training
Biblical Teaching/Theology and Studying Revival.

Adulting Principals & Values
Navigating Singleness and Relationships, Communication and Finances 

Throughout the program, an intern will cultivate, renew and awaken a heart to fully love and pursue God, be on mission through the local church and use their gifts in ministry to usher in revival in Tacoma.

Prayer Room: Delaney McCall

As a prayer room intern you will learn the biblical & practical foundations of prayer.
In a small group setting you will learn the biblical importance of prayer, why we pray, and how God uses prayer to bring revival. Practically you will be trained in how to hear God’s voice, how to lead prayer sets, and how to run a prayer room as a whole. Prayer room interns will partner with worship interns to lead prayer sets throughout the week, and will have the opportunity to lead at annual prayer and worship events as well.

Worship: Jason & Gretchen Bradley

As a worship intern, you’ll have the chance to see, interact & engage with the worship pastors on staff with City Central Church.
Once a month, in a small group setting, a worship intern could be taught the details of how to run sound and slides, songwriting, vocal training, and why being biblically grounded is important for worship. Additionally, an intern would have hands on training with the worship ministry throughout the program year with the worship pastors, applying what they learned in a real time each month.

Youth: Mark & Steph Kram

As a youth intern, you’ll have a chance to interact & engage with the youth pastors on staff with City Central Church. Once a month, in a small group setting, a pastoral intern could learn about importance of discipleship, shepherding, being biblically grounded and how to impact the next generation and . Additionally, an intern, would have hands on training in the youth ministry throughout the program year with the youth pastor to apply what they’ve learned.

Local Outreach: Steph Kram

As a Local Outreach intern, you’ll have a chance to interact & engage with a pastor & Local missionary on staff with City Central Church. Once a month, in a small group setting, a Local outreach intern could learn about the importance of discipleship, evangelism, the value & importance of local missions and how to impact and engage the next generation for the Gospel. Additionally, an intern, would have hands on training throughout the program year to apply what is being learned.

Children: Tony and Andrea Rhee

As a Children’s intern, you’ll have a chance to interact & engage with the children pastors on staff with City Central Church. Once a month, in a small group setting, a Children’s intern could learn about the importance of discipleship for children, communication (teaching) & leading a class, shepherding, being biblically grounded and why we value children in the Kingdom of God. Additionally, an intern, would have hands on training in the Children’s ministry throughout the program year with the children’s pastor to apply what they’ve learned.

Media & Technology: Steve Wood

As a Media/Tech intern, you’ll have the chance to see, interact & engage with the Media Director on staff with City Central Church. Once a month, in a small group setting, a Media/Tech intern could be taught the details of how to direct a live stream, video production of short stories or compelling content, social media marketing, and why being biblically grounded is important for digital communication. Additionally, an intern would have hands on training with the media and tech ministry throughout the program year with the Media Director, applying what they learned in a real time each month.
