We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up, or habit. But the question we all face is, where do we go from here and what will bring resolve? In the Healing Life’s Hurts sermon series, we will find freedom, healing, and victory through Jesus. Come and find God’s pathway to wholeness, growth, spiritual maturity, happiness, and healing.

Sermon Processing Questions:

  1. Read the account of Naaman in 2 Kings 5:5–14. In what ways do you identify with Naaman’s plight? How might someone be frustrated with God’s response to their pain?
  2. What are some unhealthy ways of dealing with acute, or immediate, pain? How about coping with chronic, or long-term, pain? What impact does this unhealthy response have on our life?
  3. What did Naaman finally do to stop the hurt and begin to heal?  Learning from Naaman’s story, in what ways will you respond to pain in your life?
