This week was Summit Sunday! Staff and elders shared about what God has been doing in and through City Central this past year. There were so many good things to celebrate including outreach events, salvations, financial growth, building projects, local and international impact, and more. The great part about Summit Sunday is whether you’ve been here for years or this was your very first week with us, you get to join in with what God is doing through City Central in Tacoma and globally. Our Shared Values

  • 350 Volunteer hours per Sunday.
  • 34,343 Volunteer hours total in 2024.
  • 750 Hours of prayer and worship.
  • 5,000+ Students attended a Jesus Club.
  • 2,425 People attended City Central outreach events.
  • 56 Salvations in CC events, top 5% of churches reaching the lost.
  • 50%+ Of City Central are in Life Groups.
  • 2x Kids Freedom Immersion attendance doubled.
  • 1,110 People have attended a Freedom Immersion/Class.
  • 3k+ Have received Freedom Prayer over the last year.
  • 75 People trained to be on prayer teams.
  • 50% Of our CC Young Adults serve on Sunday Mornings.
  • 1,200+ In attendance Easter Weekend.
  • 3 & 3 3 years in the new building, now at 3 services.

Three Year Plan

Life Groups- Build healthy life groups as the primary vehicle of connection and growth within our body.

  • In community. Ensuring deeper relationships through praying for one another and our city, the processing of the word of God (weekly message) and by shepherding people by providing a place for safe and honest communication.
  • On Mission. Providing places to grow in caring for and serving others.

Through heathy Life Groups we can:

Reach- Engaging our community with the gospel by connecting with our neighbors, our city and beyond.

  • Develop effective activities to engage community near our building and in Tacoma.
  • Invite people into community through entry points to our leadership pipeline.

Restore- Redeeming God’s original design through healing, transformation and renewal unto abundant life.

  • Teach the City Central body through workshops, classes, and immersions how to live free in Christ.
  • Shepherd the ministry of freedom that Jesus has given by creating resources and teaching for the broader body of Christ.

Equip- Train, prepare and develop all generations to do the work of the ministry and to love God through His word.

  • Execute effective training in competence and character for each ministry area.
  • Empower the body of Christ to replicate by recruiting leaders and equipping them to live an overcoming life in Christ.
